High Holy Day Card
Rosh Hashanah 5784 is fast approaching. Sending Rosh Hashanah cards is a wonderful way to tell your fellow congregants you are thinking of them. The B’nai Tikvah High Holy Days Greeting Card is a simple way to wish everyone a Shana Tova and let them know how much they are appreciated.
With a $25 contribution, your name will be included in the beautiful B’nai Tikvah High Holy Days Greeting Card.
Please fill in the form, with your name exactly as you wish it to appear in the High Holiday Greeting Card and return the completed form to the office. You can also fill out the online form. Thank you for your consideration.
For copies of the mailing, please click image. Deadline is Thursday, August 3rd.
Ticket & Seating Information
High Holy Day Ticket Letter & Seating Information was sent to the congregation mid-June.
Please note, tickets cannot be purchased online. Simply return the form by Thursday, August 3, 2023, with the appropriate payment. Please do not include dues or other payments with your seat request.
For copies of the mailing, please click images.
Yizkor Book of Remembrance 2023 / 5784
B'nai Tikvah's Book of Remembrance is an important and enduring way to recall our loved ones and memorialize them during Yom Kippur and Yizkor Services throughout the coming year.
To include the names of your loved ones in the 5784 Book of Remembrance, please return the form you received in the mail. For copy of the mailing, please click image.
Deadline is Thursday, August 3rd. Online Book of Remembrance 5784
Bimah Flowers Sponsorship
To enrich our experience during these special days, congregants can help enhance our High Holy Day senses through beautiful floral arrangements. Please consider sponsoring one or more of our four flower arrangements, which cost nearly $700 total last year. You can sponsor the bimah flowers in honor or in memory of someone. Names of donors, and their tributes, will be acknowledged during the services.
To support this effort to beautify the sanctuary, please click image to fill out online form.
Deadline is Tuesday, September 5th.
Ushers & Greeters
We need your help ensuring that everyone has a smooth, helpful, and positive experience during the High Holy Days. There are new families to our community and others who have not been in the building for a long time. We need you to be a guide. Thank you for your service!
To volunteer as an usher or greeter, please click image to fill out online form indicating your shift preferences.
Food Drive
You can help in three easy steps:
1. Collect your bag at Rosh Hashanah Services.
2. Fill the bag with the items listed on the flyer attached to the bag or by clicking on image.
3. Return the filled bag when you come for services on Kol Nidrei/Yom Kippur.
The Social Action team will deliver the food to the local food pantries for distribution.
Also, throughout the year you can volunteer your time to help assist with Family Table.
