Online Programs & Services

Dear B'nai Tikvah community,

The state of emergency now prohibits gatherings of more than 25 persons, and so, for the near future, we will not be able to reopen our building for prayer, study and fellowship.  During this time when we can not gather in person, we want to take advantage of technology to enable us to connect, learn and pray together through ZOOM (via smartphone, computer, telephone or on our website).  Details on how to connect are found below.  And be in touch if we can help you make these connections work.  Our staff will be working remotely but you can still reach us by phone and e-mail.  Please stay in touch with us and with one another!

FOR THOSE SAYING KADDISH:   After consulting with colleagues and reviewing recent decisions of the Conservative movement's Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, I have concluded that a virtual meeting of 10 Jewish adults can constitute a minyan during this extraordinary time.  With that in mind, starting on Wednesday night (March 18th) we will have evening services, Sunday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Friday night services at 6:00 p.m. In this way, mourners and those observing yahrtzeits will be able to recite the Mourner's Kaddish with the community.  Please help us make a virtual minyan at those services.

IF YOU NEED A PRAYERBOOK:  Below you will find links to download a PDF file with the text of the Mincha and Maariv services as well as the Friday night and Shabbat morning services.
