The Social Action/Social Justice Committee is more than a group of people
getting together to discuss programming. It is an opportunity to practice
Tikkun Olam.... saving the world one small bit at a time.
Our programs are open to the entire temple community.
YOU CAN BECOME INVOLVED IN WHATEVER INTERESTS YOU,
BE IT SOMETHING BIG OR SMALL!  
You do not need to be a committee member to PARTICIPATE
in one of a number of meaningful activities, such as….

FAMILY TABLE: (sponsored by Jewish Family & Children’s Service)
Goal: Alleviate hunger by helping people in the Jewish community and beyond.
How to help: Bring an item of food to B'nai Tikvah. We are committed to providing 25 boxes of cereal and 25 cans/packets of soup, preferably low salt, per month
Volunteer: Join us once a month on a Sunday morning.
To be a volunteer, please fill out JF&CS Family Table Application.

We are happy to announce that, thanks to many volunteers, we will have evening minyan on both July 3rd & 4th. Since we usually have not held minyan on those holidays, those who are typically scheduled for those nights are welcome to attend, but if they choose not to, have been covered.
