Social Action / Social Justice
On January 14th, the Social Action/Social Justice committee held a "Write to the IDF" event at the temple. Members of the congregation wrote 131 cardsof encouragement and support to the soldiers who are defending Israel. This is just one mitzvah we can do for our sisters and brothers in Israel. AM YISRAEL CHAI!

Many thanks to Cheryl Hiltz, Ronna Nesselle, Leslie Pearlstein, Karen Reiser, Sharon Schwartz, and Janice Halpern who - under the expert guidance of Michelle Langmead - made 8 frittatas, 4 lokshen kugels, and 3 trays of brownies. Advanced Level I Hebrew Reading with Florence Wiener Join NJOP's Hebrew Reading Specialist, for an Advanced Level I Hebrew Reading class on Zoom.
Designed for those who know their letters and vowels, who can decode and form words or are graduates of the Hebrew Reading Crash Course, Level I. This review course will help you build on what you have already learned, and help prepare you for the Level II course.
