Adult Education
The Adult Education Committee wishes to thank the volunteers who worked for the Classic Klezmer program. They are Lorraine Simon, for finding the program, Janice Halpern, Marshall Silberberg, Cathy Stern, Mona Rosen, Phil Rosen, Phyl Hewson, Kayla Friedman, and Stephen Niers. We could not have had the successful program without them.

Wednesday, Mar 13, 12 pm New Voices: Modern Feminist Midrash In recent years, feminist writers have created a wealth of new stories and poems inspired by biblical and rabbinic texts, bringing fresh insights to our tradition. We will explore a variety of these midrashim in English, discussing how the writers are continuing the midrashic tradition but taking it in new directions. To vote on future courses, please fill out this poll.
Join the fun Saturday, March 23, 6 pm - put on your costume, play games, enjoy a light meal, watch the Purim Shpiel, celebrate Havdallah, hear and participate in our interactive Megillah Purim story, and socialize with friends. Prizes will be drawn after Havdallah. Please register below for this event.
Tell your family and friends. Great cash prizes will be given to our lucky winners!
The B'nai Tikvah Brotherhood/Men's Club Passover Wine Sale has officially started. We offer a fine selection of wine and liquor at competitive prices to enhance your Seder Table.
Orders may be sent to the Temple Office to the attention of Brotherhood. Checks must accompany your orders. We plan on having a wine tasting sale later this month. Please submit your orders as early as possible. Deadline for ordering will be April 3rd.
If you are planning to attend the Temple Community Seder on April 23rd and would like to buy wine in advance to supplement the ceremonial wine that is being served, please do so from the Brotherhood wine sale. You can buy it through the process mentioned above and include information of which bottles will be for the Seder. When the wine arrives at the Temple, the specified bottles will be marked for the Seder with your name and will then be put on your table at the Seder. This is not a BYOB event. Due to Passover food guidelines, no other food or beverages can be brought into the Temple during the holiday. Please support our Brotherhood efforts!
Join us Sunday, March 24 at 8 am for the "ganze megillah" reading featuring the vocal stylings of Dr. Matthew Zizmor.
Sisterhood sponsors a light breakfast following the reading.
