Please join us in person in our sanctuary to celebrate with our rising Religious School students, as they complete this stage of their Jewish learning! Enjoy a songful service and kvell with their parents, as the students lead prayers and share what Religious School at B’nai Tikvah has meant to them. Brotherhood scholarship recipients will also be announced during the service.
Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be available on LiveControl and YouTube. Our Friday night service will be followed by a festive dessert.
Shabbat Morning: Parashat Emor
Our portion this week touches on issues of justice and fair compensation. I will teach about ancient and rabbinic parallels and responses to the famous “eye for an eye” rule.
Services will be live in the Sanctuary and on livestream and YouTube. Marty Shapiro will read Torah, Heidi Wortzman will read Haftarah, and I will lead the davening. We begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude around noon with a kiddush luncheon, sponsored by Edith Weiner in honor of her birthday.

Celebrating our Daily Minyan
We deeply appreciate the dedication of our minyan leaders, captains, and regulars who provide a space for people to say kaddish or to have a few moments of connection and prayer at the end of the day.
Join us for Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning services on May 19-20 as we honor the members of our community who keep our ZOOMminyan going every evening!
