Join us in person in the sanctuary or online on Livestream as our religious school children lead our Friday Night services. Our service begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes around 6:50 p.m., and will be followed by a light oneg of fruit and dairy desserts.
SHABBAT MORNING:
There’s something about Esau
In this week’s parsha (Gen. 25:19-28:9), Isaac and Rebecca play favorites with their children, Jacob and Esau. Why is Esau his father’s favorite? What does Jacob learn by taking on his brother’s identity?
Our Shabbat morning service begins at 10 a.m. in our sanctuary, and you can join us in person or on Livestream. Noah Beit-Aharon will read Torah, Marty Shapiro will read Haftorah, and I will offer a teaching. Services will conclude around noon and will be followed by a kiddush luncheon sponsored by Harriet Burak in honor of her daughter Michelle Langmead’s birthday.
Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Lisa Feld
Security Reminders
B’nai Tikvah takes the safety & security of our community seriously, and asks all of us to do our part. Please bring your fob with you to every service or program for security purposes. Please DO NOT hold the door open for someone you do not recognize.
Simcha Shabbat & Kiddush
We encourage you to sponsor a kiddush to mark a simcha, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, commemorate a yahrzeit, honor an individual's accomplishment, or just to enhance our Shabbat. Since not every kiddush is sponsored, we hope you will consider a contribution to the kidush fund so we can provide a kiddush every week. All sponsors are much appreciated and will be acknowledged.
We have streamlined this process to make it easier than ever-- come see our new kiddush sponsorship page on the website!
