COVID Vaccination Policy for High Holidays: We look forward to seeing many of you during the High Holy Days. We want to make this a comfortable experience for everyone. The expectation is that all persons attending services in the sanctuary/social hall will have been fully vaccinated. Non-vaccinated persons cannot attend services in person.
If you have not yet submitted your vaccination card, please use this form to upload your card or drop it off during summer temple hours. Tickets will not be issued unless we have a proof of vaccination on file for everyone in your party.
Need a FREE COVID Rapid Antigen Test? We have FREE at-home tests, courtesy of Julie Goodman and the Canton Board of Health. Just stop by B'nai Tikvah office hours to pick up a pack to keep on your home shelf.

As the High Holidays approach, and we think of chessed (doing acts of loving kindness) and tzadakah (providing for those in need), there are several ways we can choose to help in the fight against food insecurity:
* Our own BT HH food drive. Bags will be distributed on Rosh Hashanah, with flyers stating what should be provided. The filled bags need to be returned on Yom Kippur. * Jewish Family and Children's Services' (JF & CS) Bike Ride for Hunger on October 2nd. The Ride for Food, an annual cycling event, is the biggest fundraiser for Family Table each year. Visit the JF&CS Family Table Ride for Food fundraising page to join the team or to donate. Watch for details on the Project Bread Interfaith Walk for Hunger on October 23rd.
It is time for us to focus on the important, upcoming November elections! Once again, we are writing postcards to disenfranchised voters in North Carolina and possibly Georgia. Join us at the temple on September 20th, 7:00 p.m. at the temple. This is PRIOR to our committee meeting and you do not need to be a member of the committee to help. All the necessary supplies are provided.... postcards, verbiage, names and addresses, pens, postage, etc. Continue to watch Chai Lights for upcoming programs on Breast and Ovarian Cancer Awareness, and Transgender Remembrance Day Shabbat. Minyan List for the Week
Congregants commemorating a yahrzeit may wish to honor that event by leading some portion of the evening’s service. It might be as small as leading a prayer or could be leading all of Mincha or Ma’ariv. If you are interested in taking this honor feel free to call Joe Doniger at 781-910-7601 or email us at MinyanRangers@bnaitikvahma.org at least two days in advance, and we’ll help make arrangements with that night’s minyan leader. Due to the pandemic, as many people are observing a virtual Shiva week, if you inform the leader, a third Mourners' Kaddish will be included as is done in a shiva house.
