Please join us in person (also on Livestream and YouTube), for a special evening in honor of Rabbi Gordon. We will begin with Kabbalat Shabbat, led by Reb Lisa and Reb Josh, and hear words of gratitude from members of our community. After Kabbalat Shabbat, there will be dinner in the social hall for those who pre-registered.
Our Friday night service begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes around 7:00 p.m. Our service includes candle lighting, blessing one another, kiddush, and motzei as we prepare to move from the work week to Shabbat as a day of rest and reflection.
Shabbat Morning:
Adult B’nai Mitzvah and prayer leading
Since the fall, a group of our members have been studying the art of reading Torah and Haftorah and leading the service. Please come celebrate with Vivienne Aarons, Alan Bulotsky, Phyl Hewson, Elaine Matisoff, Lorraine Simon, Cathy Stern, and Jeff Weinberg as they share the fruits of their labors with the community!
Our service begins at 10 a.m. in our sanctuary, and you can join us in person or on Livestream. The davening, Torah and Haftorah reading, and teaching will be done by members of the class. Services will conclude around noon and will be followed by a kiddush luncheon sponsored by Cathy Stern and her classmates.
Shabbat shalom, Reb Lisa Feld
