On this our second shabbat since Passover, Rabbi Gordon will offer a teaching from the second chapter of Pirkei Avot, “the Sayings of the Sages.” Reb Josh will lead the davening.
Our Friday night service begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes around 7:00 p.m. Join us on ZOOM and log in early to say hello. Our service includes Candle lighting, blessing one another, kiddush, motzei and angel cards as we prepare to move from the work week to Shabbat as a day of rest and reflection.
Shabbat Morning:
Sisterhood/Brotherhood Shabbat
This Shabbat morning we will honor, and be led in prayer and study by, the many volunteers of our Brotherhood and Sisterhood. We hope you will join us in celebrating shabbat, and the many contributions they make to the life of our community.
Services will be live in the Sanctuary and on LiveControl and You Tube. Davening in the sanctuary begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes around noon with kiddush luncheon.
Farewell to Rabbi Gordon
Please join us for a special evening in honor of Rabbi Leonard Gordon on Friday, April 28, 6 pm. The event will begin with a Friday Shabbat Service. The service will be followed by dinner in the social hall for those who pre-register. *Dinner RSVP and payment required by April 25th
Saturday, April 29, 10 am A group of our members have been studying since the fall the art of reading Torah and Haftarah, and leading the service. Please come celebrate with them as they share the fruits of their labors with the community!
