Canton Fall Classic Road Race
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 This year will be the 34th Canton Fall Classic road race! This year’s race is on Sunday, October 29 and features 5K and 10K races beginning at 10 am, a senior walk at 9 am and a kid’s fun run at 9:45 am. More info is at www.cantonfallclassic.org.

Sammy Bernstein, a founding member of Temple Beth Am, was a Marine who survived the last Japanese banzai attack on Iwo Jima. Sammy's Story tells of his surprise enlistment in the Marine Corps as a naive, young boy to his transition into a battle-ready Marine on the black sands of Iwo Jima. Sammy passed away in 2015 but his son will be with us to carry on his legacy. Join us for tea, coffee, and pastries after the film. REGISTER HERE! Israel Bonds B'nai Tikvah's Endowment Committee has arranged to purchase $300,000 in Israel Bonds, replacing our old Israel Bonds which matured in 2022. These new 2-year bonds will help support Israel while generating income (5.13%) for B'nai Tikvah.

In the Community
Ahavath Torah Congregation is hosting StandWithUS, an international nonprofit Israel education organization, for a discussion on the concepts and misconceptions about Israel, Zionism, and Jews. The event, with Senior Educator Charlotte Korchak, is on Sunday, November 5th at 10am. Tickets are $10 a person and include breakfast. Registration is required. No tickets will be sold at the door.
