Canton Fall Classic Road Race, Benefiting B'nai Tikvah: Oct. 30th
Canton Fall Classic Returns on October 30
The Canton Fall Classic Road Race is right around the corner. Registration is open for this year’s race, to be held on Sunday, October 30. Sponsored by B’nai Tikvah, the race will feature both a 10K and a 5K, starting at 10 am, a one-mile kids' Fun Run at 9:45 am, and a one-mile Senior Walk beginning at 9:00 am. More than 400 runners have participated in past years.
There will be a DJ, local sponsors, and fun pre-run warmup activities.
We will be seeking temple volunteers to help out on race day and will reach out with more information on how you can be a part of the temple’s largest fund raising effort this year. Please click here for more information.

Thanks to all who participated in the BT food drive. It was a great success! Now that the Monday holidays have been observed, the food will be delivered to both the Canton and Randolph food banks. Special thanks go to Adrienne Fleishman for chairing the drive, and to Ann Hartstein and Stan Zoll for delivering the filled bags.
The joint SA and Sisterhood "Pink Minyan '' provided attendees with knowledge of the work of Sharsheret, a national, Jewish organization which empowers women coping with issues of breast and ovarian cancer. Transgender Remembrance Day occurs annually on November 20th. It is a time to remember the victims of transphobic violence who have been killed in the last year. Join us for services on Shabbat, November 19th as the Social Action Committee presents a guest speaker. Details to follow. Minyan List
Congregants commemorating a yahrzeit may wish to honor that event by leading some portion of the evening’s service. It might be as small as leading a prayer or could be leading all of Mincha or Ma’ariv. If you are interested in taking this honor feel free to call Joe Doniger at 781-910-7601 or email us at MinyanRangers@bnaitikvahma.org at least two days in advance, and we’ll help make arrangements with that night’s minyan leader. Due to the pandemic, as many people are observing a virtual Shiva week, if you inform the leader, a third Mourners' Kaddish will be included as is done in a shiva house.
